Deus is a small family studio in Plovdiv. This page explains what happens to the details you send us through this website. There is no database behind the site and no analytics of any kind - an enquiry arrives as an email and lives as an email.

What we collect, and why

Only what you type into the enquiry form: your name, a phone number or email address, and whatever you choose to tell us about your wedding and what you'd like made. Nothing is collected in the background.

We use it for one thing - to write back to you and talk about your order. Nothing else, and nowhere else.

Our legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR - steps taken at your own request before entering into a contract. That is why the form has no consent box to tick: you asked us to reply, and we need a way to reach you.

If you use the set planner, your plan is saved in your own browser and only reaches us if you choose to attach it to an enquiry - see our Cookie Policy.

Who else sees them

Only the services that have to carry them:

Resend
Delivers the enquiry form's email to our inbox.
Google (Gmail)
Where that inbox is, and where your enquiry sits afterwards.
Vercel
Hosts this website, and keeps the standard server logs every web host keeps, which include visitors' IP addresses.
A courier
Only if you order something: the name, address and phone number needed to deliver it, and nothing else. Usually Econt or Speedy.

Resend and Google are US companies, so an enquiry email is stored outside the EU, under the transfer safeguards EU law provides for. We don't sell your details or pass them to anyone else.

How long we keep them

Enquiries that don't become orders: up to 24 months after we last hear from you. Correspondence about an actual order: while we're making your pieces, and a reasonable period after. Invoices: as long as Bulgarian accounting and tax law requires, which is longer and isn't up to us.

Ask us to delete yours sooner and we will.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you what we hold, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or give it back to you in a portable form. Write to the address below and we'll answer within a month. There's no form to fill in and no charge.

You can also complain to the Bulgarian supervisory authority:
